Cookie: “Morality separates heroes from villains.” Good and Evil 101. The kids might have been able to figure that one out on their own.
Who knew “The Academy” kids would make a triumphant return? I wonder if they'll be back in The Siege of Mandalore, too.
I wonder what the people of Mandalore are thinking now that Death Watch is having firefights in the streets, erm, skies.
Jedi, once again prevented from doing their duty by politics. I always love the commentary.
The Twilight's triumphant return! Fittingly damaged in this ploy Obi-Wan is pulling.
Back in the Hardeen disguise, too! I guess they didn't give it back to him. I wonder if they even released him from custody.
Star Wars loves the “lure them onto your ship and steal their outfit” plan. ANH, this episode, Rogue One...
Satine literally let her hair down! For the first time... ever?
Clancy, getting to pull double duty in Savage's last episode.
0 for 2 on escapes. I guess Satine was just not meant to get away.
Oh, and RIP, Twilight. A piece of junk that truly looked the part AND lived up to it.
Ah, RIP, Satine. You deserved better than this.
Maul's apex, Obi-Wan's nadir. A certain Sith Lord cannot let this stand.
I can understand Maul wanting Obi-Wan to languish. But the Evil Overlord wouldn't. He'd just have shot the guy.
Busting out the Imperial March for the main event! I got so freaking excited when this scene debuted in the season trailer.
Sidious just choking those two dudes out would bring a tear to Karen Traviss' eye. Though maybe she's okay with a Sith doing it since they don't pretend to be something they're not, unlike the Jedi. Supposedly.
Spectacular shot of Obi-Wan seeing the raging battle.
ANH ref as Maul senses a presence!
Even in his new quest, Maul is ready to be Sidious' subordinate once again.
Uh oh, Sidious dual wielding! That didn't go well for Maul and Savage a few episodes back!
I suppose this Mandalorian civil war continues to rage and is part of the plot for the Siege of Mandalore. Especially after Obi-Wan notes that Maul's takeover means the Republic will now be invading Mandalore.
Sidious really enjoys this fight. Probably because he doesn't get out to do it much.
Rip, Savage. As you say, you were never the monster the witches made you be.
Abercrombie, doing some of his best work in his final performance on the show.
“Remember! The first and only reality of the Sith. There can only be two. And you are no longer my apprenctice! You have been replaced!”
“Have mercy! Please! Please”
“There is no mercy.” *lightning*
“Do not worry, I'm not going to kill you. I have... other uses for you!”
And what a way to end things!
Next... the Jedi must investigate “Sabotage”!
And, of course, rest in peace, Ian Abercrombie. You were a master at voicing the character of Palpatine/Sidious.
