Cookie: “A soldier's most powerful weapon is courage.” Which a certain someone will soon rediscover.
This place reminds us of Tatooine, too, Artoo. Specifically Mos Eisley.
That Aleena mugging the dude ten times his size is pretty amazing.
Hey, Gregor!
Malachor name drop! Which we would finally see in canon on Rebels.
SPOILER ALERT! Gregor, of course, returns in Rebels in a much crazier state. I wonder if his amnesia and perhaps PTSD from the Battle of Sarrish led to his wilder demeanor later in life.
In retrospect, Gregor having his memory partly jarred by a hologram of Rex is fitting since they later become roommates and friends in retirement.
That diner owner has to be the first fat Sullustan I've ever seen.
The most threatening man in a burger hat I've ever seen.
That is one in the know diner owner. Pretty sharp to figure out not only why the Separatists are on the planet, but also they plan to use the rhydonium to blow up a Jedi Cruiser in orbit. Though he's only slightly off in that regard.
Lucky timing for D-Squad, though. A Republic ship just happens to be in orbit. But, hey, 22 minute kids shows have to cut corners sometimes. Same reason you get Tarkin, Vader, Lando, Leia, and Thrawn all showing up on Lothal at one point. And why the place gets a Jedi Temple and a TIE factory.
We get to see a clone commando in action! Woohoo!
The deece gun, blowing up barrels to destroy droids: just like the video game!
“You will be remembered, Captain Gregor. We will take your heroic story back to the Republic. And we will watch for your return.”
SPOILER ALERT: And he will return in Star Wars: Rebels! Unfortunately, he will perish in that series' finale. A finale in which every Ghost crew member, Ahsoka, Ezra, and Hondo's Ugnaught friend survives. But Gregor dies. I'm not bitter.
Next, cross the "Point of No Return"!
