Cookie: "Revenge is a confession of pain." And that's very true. Boba wants revenge because the death of his father is painful. Maul wants revenge because being sliced in half and driven insane is very painful. Ventress wants revenge because being cast out and left to die by Dooku hurts. Bruce Wayne wanted revenge because growing up without parents after seeing them murdered in front of him is far from easy. So yeah, truth.
Tom Kane's first words in the episode are literally the episode title.
At this point, the morality war continues to wage within Boba. And we know which side wins out, ultimately.
RIP, Ponds. At least you won't have to witness anymore burning villages.
Plo says "the underworld" with such gravitas. But then, he says most everything with gravitas.
Hondo! I do like bringing some of our past characters together here. I do wish Bane had made a cameo at some point in the trilogy, maybe bring the "Rise of the Bounty Hunters" theme full circle. Unfortunately, I don't think Hondo and Cad ever interacted.
It's funny that Aurra actually stops Boba from having an adult drink. Like some twisted mother figure.
I'll say this for Aurra, her eyes are quite green.
Blu Ray reveals the graffiti I couldn't see on my old TV. It says "Roger roger".
Plo Koon putting the lightsaber on the bar to show he means business makes me love him all the more.
So, Ahsoka fails at subtlety, but the lightsaber activating to quiet the room is pretty fun.
She's also amazingly lucky to hear the one conversation relevant to her mission.
Bossk doesn't get enough to do in this trilogy. I'm glad they bring him back later.
The thunderstorm on Florum seen from space is a nice touch.
Hammer!!: In the EU, Aurra is a former Jedi apprentice and a capable lightsaber combatant. She nearly defeats Aayla at one point, so it would be unlikely that Ahsoka could take her. That's certainly not evident in her TCW appearances.
Hondo's hat looks like a turtle shell.
We all knew the Slave I wasn't destroyed and that Aurra survived, right?
Mace, such a charmer. He's a capable fighter, but he doesn't exactly fit the mold of Jedi compassion, does he?
And that's season two! I find I liked some of the episodes more the second time around. The Boba Fett trilogy in particular worked more for me this time around.
Next: The Rookies get a backstory in "Clone Cadets"!
