About the movie? Nic, Todd and I were talking about this the other day after seeing Prometheus. As long as they cast Christian Bale as Batman and that new guy they've got for Superman, I'm on board. Problem is, Bale said that he wouldn't play Batman again unless Chris Nolan was involved. We could have a similar situation to the Hulk in The Avengers on our hands. The guy has pretty much established himself over 3 films as being Batman, so he should do it in the Justice League one as, well. Sent from my DROID Pro using ProBoards

Yeah, that is a bummer... Bale is batman just like Robert Downey Jr is Iron Man, you can't seperate the two.

I'd actually prefer someone other than Bale be Batman in a Justice League movie. The reason is because Nolan's Batman trilogy has tried to more or less keep it grounded in the real world with some grand leaps in technology but nothing that suspends disbelief to the extent of an alien man with the ability to fly. It's similar in the way I feel about the animated Batman series back in the 90s. Yeah, it was later all part of one big universe, but before Superman's animated series and before the Batman series' design change, that show seemed like it was part of its own universe. It's just hard for me to imagine Bale's Batman being part that larger DC universe. As for Cavill, that will probably depend on how he does portraying the character. It seems I've seen him act in "Stardust" and "The Count of Monte Cristo", but I don't remember his performances. OTOH, I've yet to see a Superman portrayal that I really disliked. Joss Whedon has a good quote about the League's larger than life characters and the difficulty of portraying that. I think there's some merit to that, too: geektyrant.com/news/2012/4/13/joss-whedon-offers-up-advice-for-justice-league-movie.html
