Cookie: “Who we are never changes, who we think we are does.” I suppose. Who is Ventress, truly? Is she the little girl, taken in by a Jedi, happy to win his praise? Is she the angry young woman accepted by Dooku to be his top assassin? Is she the lost soul, returning to the Nightsisters as she seeks a home? Perhaps there is a common thread running through all those times in her life, and she's simply different each time by the way she views herself. And by the end of this episode, she has an entirely new view.
Welcome to Tatooine, Asajj.
New outfit. Not bad.
Back to our favorite cantina!
Well, she's not above straight up murdering a dude for bothering her. Not exactly a good gal yet.
Enter Bossk and Latts Razzi.
Looks like Embo turned down the job.
Dengar!
And, of course, Boba Fett. With the rather badass voiced Highsinger.
I wonder if Boba and Bossk escaped during that prison riot while Obi-Wan was undercover.
Hey, the Hound's Tooth is canon!
The four-way split mouth these aliens have are a little... disturbing.
I do like how this older Boba model is showing clear signs of transitioning to the adult clone models.
The tracking shot through the train is nice.
“All this effort!” Just you wait, Asajj.
New helmet for Fett. And maybe his dad's twin guns.
And Dengar's overboard!
Another lovely tracking shot as Boba moves forward. Lots of goodness in this action-packed episode.
Bossk overboard!
Latts and Highsinger, over together.
“Over my dead body!” Terms accepted.
And Ventress remembers she can use telekinesis, ending the fight with the lead raider.
Still have a lot to learn, Boba.
This is why you always check the cargo before you pay.
How the aliens on this planet don't run that train down and catch Ventress, I do not know.
Probably Ventress' first true step away from darkness. Not necessarily back to the light, but... in that direction, at least.
Next, a reunion of “Brothers”!
