Cookie: “One must let go of the past to hold on to the future.” Relevant to Ventress this time around, though too late after the events of Nightsisters. And though he's not in this episode, Anakin struggles with this concept, too.
Ventress must have been wandering around the galaxy for some time if she's only just now getting back to Dathomir.
You have to love this clash of baddies. Ventress and Talzin. Dooku and Grievous. Fun to watch.
Nice shot of the departing Separatists forces.
Interesting to think that the Star Wars galaxy has supernatural elements besides the Force. I wonder how widespread other techniques are, and if Palpatine cracked down on them the way he did users of the Force.
The Separatist overwhelming force is pretty impressive in this episode.
Ventress is lucky none of those B2 Battle droids are choosing to actually fire.
The Defoliaters are back! Nice to have that continuity.
I wonder what Old Dakka does all day in her sealed off chamber.
Oh, hey, undead sisters! Enjoy your nightmares, kids!
Looks like Talzin's a Voodoo master, too.
Finally, Ventress vs. Grievous! And notice, Grievous never actually agrees to Ventress' terms.
Grievous. Never above cheating to win.
I do like how much the battle turns once Grievous enters it. And how contemptuously he just throws down that undead sister.
Right in the head! Ouch! I'm actually feeling bad for Dooku.
Grievous does what he does, and everything goes bad for the Nightsisters.
Costly, but for once, Grievous wins. And Ventress is so much worse off than she was at the beginning of the episode. Has to be her low point in the series.
Next, join Ventress as she goes on a hunt for the “Bounty”.
